Hello my beautiful people! I know it’s been a while. A lot has happened.. But I’m back and I’d like to get the site up and running. I’ve spoken to the other writers and my goal to post more content daily.
Today, I wanted to talk about my weight-loss journey. At the end of my pregnancy last summer, I weighed a whomping 210 lbs. YIKES! Like most people I gained that “COVID weight” and instead trying to do better, health wise, I had a very shitty pregnancy (no shade to my baby girl) so I found comfort in food. However, after I dropped my little butter ball, I decided to make some changes nothing major. Like I would have a salad before eating dinner, I would take the stairs instead of the elevator, I increased my water intake etc. What really nailed the hammer on the head was I tried intermittent fasting and in total I lost 40 lbs. YAYYY!
Now, I’m very proud of what I achieved BUT honestly, I’m not happy. I decided why not get a little boost in my journey. Obviously, I just came back from maternity leave not too long ago so it’s not like I have time in the bank to get days off for major work such as liposuction or tummy tuck. After some searching, I went with Sonobello Trisculpt Micro-laser lipo. There are different names like smart lipo, laser lipo, laser lipoplasty etc but they’re all the same shit. It’s a minimally invasive procedure that uses the latest laser technology for fat removal and skin tightening in targeted areas. The patient is awake for the procedure no worries they use localized anesthesia so I won’t feel pain (hopefully). Then they’ll insert micro cannulas and gently suction to effectively remove the majority of unwanted fat and special laser-assisted equipment is used for the finishing touches. I have a mom belly meaning saggy skin so I also included their AbEX procedure which is a tummy-tuck alternative that removes excess skin.
Let's get to the important part, pricing. The areas highlighted are the areas I want to get done. They’re charging me $1,945 per area and the AbEX is $4,995. UGH! My birthday is coming so I said fuck it, let’s do it.
Here’s a breakdown of what I have to pay. They have a year round promo of $250 off per area and a summer promo of $2500 off the total price. I also have to pay a surgical fee and added the Diamond support package which I’m not sure if it’s required but my feelings are “go all the way or go home”. I had put down a $1000 deposit and financing the rest with an 18 month 0% interest plan. My pre-op appointment is August 11th (my bday) and my surgery date is August 18th. I will keep you guys posted. If you have any questions feel free to message me or leave a comment!
